That is a legitimate model, and for a seller who wants speed and certainty above all else it can be the right choice.
But it costs money, and a lot of sellers do not need it. If you are willing to answer a few calls and show your car to a few people, a private sale reliably gets you a better price — because there is no reconditioning margin and no dealer overhead priced into the transaction. The buyer wins on the same arithmetic, from the other side.

Inspect the vehicle in person, verify the paperwork against government records, and never pay before you have done both. We started in Tamil Nadu and that is still where our coverage runs deepest — Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy and eleven more cities across the state. We have since extended to Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi NCR, Gujarat and beyond, covering 53 cities in total.
Rather than publish the same page for every city, we have written up what actually differs between them: the local RTO series, the tax and emission rules that bite in that state, the model mix regional roads and incomes produce, and the specific things worth inspecting there — flood history in Chennai and Mumbai, salt corrosion in Thoothukudi, lifetime tax in Bengaluru, vehicle age limits in Delhi.
At the moment, we don't. Listing is free while we build up inventory, and there is no commission on any sale. In future, paid promotion of individual listings — featured and premium placement — is how the site is intended to sustain itself. The base listing is intended to stay free, and we will never take a percentage of your sale price.
